Opinion: What is so scary about enjoying a movie?
November 23, 2021
People have to stop rating horror movies by production value, scare factor, and directors. And a lot of movies are good because of those things but sometimes others just want to see a comical death that was supposed to be taken seriously. Movie fanatics jumping at the chance to attack someone for liking “Happy Death Day” (because of the comedy) or “Unfriended” (because the concept of teenagers not knowing how to just close their laptop is frustratingly funny) is unnecessary and a bit annoying. Liking something shouldn’t need a reason or be measured by your knowledge on something, let people enjoy the harmless things they like.

I know a lot of the students, so that makes it a little bit easier coming from Cabrillo, and it's been nice to see them all grown up."
