Stokey Coffee Co. & Acai Bowls, previously known as “Stoked,” is located in downtown Ventura. Although at the very end of the El Jardin Courtyard, their coffee, tea, variety of toasts, and smoothie bowls have

people’s attention.

The acai bowls are a blend of organic acai, strawberries and bananas, with local organic granola, honey, strawberries, bananas, seasonal fruit and chia seeds on top. They also include options for peanut or almond butter in their “Butter Bowl.”

Their seasonal fruits have been kiwi, peaches, and blueberries and is currently blackberries. All Stokey’s syrups are made in house and all produce is preferred to be local and always fresh.

You can also get extra fruit and gluten free granola for a small extra fee.  

If you are not a fan of acai, they have the “Grom Bowl” with a dragon fruit base or a “Breakfast Bowl” with oats or yogurt as the base.

Senior Connor Lemaire said, “Not only is the food great but the hosts there aren’t anything but entertaining and kind.”

Stokey is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.

“I believe that [Stokey] has become a great addition to Downtown Ventura’s many food joints. Sure…some say the bowls are a little pricey, but you really get what you pay for,” stated senior Connor Lemaire.
