Miles Bennett — Miles “Miles” Bennett is a senior at Ventura High and the Print Editor-in-Chief at the Cougar Press. When they aren’t working on the paper, you can find them eating copious amounts of carbs and pretending that they have any free time to speak of.

Alina Calamia — Alina Calamia is a junior at Ventura High School and it is her first year doing journalism. She loves the beach and being around her friends and family. You can always find Alina at your local In-N-Out.

Shannon David — Shannon David is a senior at VHS in her first year at the Cougar Press. She enjoys driving her 1997 Toyota Previa, playing Subway Surfers and hanging out with her cat, Charles. She feels like she’s the only one here who likes Cardi B. 

Julia Davies — Julia Davies is a senior at VHS in her second year of journalism. Julia loves chasing birds at the beach with her dog Jett, and enjoys drinking overpriced coffee in her free time.

Charlotte D’Orsi — Charlotte D’Orsi is a senior at VHS in her first year of journalism. She enjoys playing 8-ball at the local pool hall, hanging out with her kitten, Boo, and cruising around Ventura in her car, The Foolish Dominator©.

Audrey Flynn — Audrey Flynn is a sophomore at VHS and done two years of journalism. She has one dog and cat that are best friends. She also has four brothers and loves eating peanut butter.

Anna Guerra — Anna Guerra is a VHS junior enjoying her first year in journalism. Outside of school, she enjoys quality time with her dog, Señor Guapo and bopping to the Ratatouille™ playlist with her favorite companion, Yasmin Myers.

Sam Hicks — Sam Hicks is a senior in his second year at The Cougar Press, currently serving as one of the Editors-in-Chief of the paper. In his free time, Sam can be found eating food, drifting sick turns and making “funny” jokes.

Juliana Jacobson — Juliana Jacobson is a senior at Ventura High School in her second year of journalism. She serves as broadcast and video editor for The Cougar Press. Outside of school, she enjoys photography, art, reading, and taking excessively long naps at inconvenient times.

Jocelyn Lee  — Jocelyn Lee is a junior in her second year at The Cougar Press. She enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her friends. You can catch Jocelyn at your local Snapper jacks eating a burrito!

Tatum Luoma — Tatum Luoma is a senior in her second year at The Cougar Press, currently serving as one of the Editors-in-chief of the paper. In her free time, Tatum can be found running track, rock climbing and trying to convince her friends that her dog is actually cool.

Connor Lynch — Connor Lynch is a senior at VHS who has initiated his first year as a writer for the Cougar Press. He is also taking Creative Writing likes reading, acting, making memes, listening to rock music, and hanging out with friends. You can find him hanging out by the baseball field cracking up satirical jokes.

Caroline Marsden — Caroline Marsden is a sophomore at VHS. This is her second year doing journalism. She has a four year old goldfish named Coral. Her favorite foods are Nutella and bread.

Katie Medina — Katie Medina is a VHS junior in her first year of journalism. She loves travelling to new places with her family. She spends most time with her well-fed dog, Scout.

Yasmin Myers — Yasmin Myers is a VHS junior, and loves her two cats, Buffy and Mittens. In her free time, she can be seen acquiring cash money. She also loves to listen to Remmy Drives a Linguini with her favorite companion, Anna Guerra.

Danny Ochoa —  Danny Ochoa is a senior at VHS who is a first year writer for The Cougar Press. He plays in two bands, loves to run, hike, and cook, and drives an 03’ taco. You can find him in the outdoors, at the skate park or at the thrift stores.

Greta Pankratz — Greta Pankratz is a VHS sophomore, and this is her first year in journalism. Greta loves traveling and snowboarding. She has a dog named Piper and twin brothers.

Koleton Petty —  Kole Petty is a first year writer at journalism and senior. He enjoys running and soccer. He also loves music and the band, Pink Floyd.

Riley Ramirez — Riley Ramirez is in his first year of Journalism and is a Junior at Ventura High School. You can find him at the local thrift with his best buds.

Peyton Redmond — Peyton Redmond is a junior at VHS in her first year of journalism. You can catch her running with the cross country/track team, posted up with her friends, or driving around our beloved city, Ventura. #imalwaysflexing

Jack Schatzman — Jack Schatzman is a VHS sophomore, he likes hanging out with his friends and eating out. He’s a dog mom of one australian cattle dog named Bob.

Bella Young — Bella Young is a senior at VHS, and is in her first year of journalism. Bella enjoys thrift shopping and burritos from Snapper Jack’s.
