Cougar Catnip: Singing in the rain
October 14, 2022
Since we don’t get much rain here in Ventura, it’s always refreshing to get even a little drizzle of water in our county. Just this past week, we had a big thunderstorm, our first in a while. To be honest, I missed the rain a lot. It’s always nice to smell the fresh rain smell on the pavement when you’re walking from class to class. If only it could snow too, then we’d get some school days canceled every now and then. Hopefully, the rain can continue through the fall season and bring us some extremely well-needed water.

I know a lot of the students, so that makes it a little bit easier coming from Cabrillo, and it's been nice to see them all grown up."
