Students display school pride by costumes, energy and obscenity

Vivian Ruvalcaba ‘23 (left) and Isaac Lopez ‘23 (right) during the rivalry game. Ruvalcaba had “Fuena” on her chest which stands for “f*** Buena.” Lopez held a bag of flour, which is a celebratory tradition after scoring touchdowns during the game. The student section threw flour into the air after each VHS score. Lopez said, “We did really well supporting our team. We were there for the team the whole game. We were louder than Buena’s student section for sure.” Photo by: Ella Montano
