Don’t forget to attend the cult gather next week
As the school year has entered April, the school decided to have a cult circle to captivate the ending of the month. As we have just concluded, the first ever meeting where teachers and advisors got together and decided that would be a part of club week.
As cults have become more popular in social media and throughout television, it has gravitated towards the youth. The first ever cult week will be happening next week to allow these different cults to project their images onto the school.
Gerlina Wood ‘27 said, “I’m actually a cult leader with my cult being centered around plants and how they can turn into mutations, and that we must praise them. Everyone that joins has to only wear soil clothing.”
There have been multiple cults that have joined the list and will be advertising next week. The most famous being the Salem Witch Cult. This cult mainly spends their days walking around in pilgrim outfits, and any woman that walks by them they yell witch. When they go to trial and see if the “witch” is guilty. They then kicked her out of school as they were denied access to start any fire on school grounds.
Blair Witchcraft ‘26 said, “I was sadly a victim of this torment, their leader, Pilgramlay Plank (add grad year) saw me and called me a witch and all of a sudden before you know it I was getting trialed and I was escorted off school grounds. All I wanted to do was go to math but because he can’t do that when you’re a woman.”

Cult week has created quite the stir at Ventura High School and many are very excited to see this event take place. While others are not on board with the idea thinking that it’s quite ridiculous and frightening. The administration told parents and emailed them that this activity and event will be safe for all students except for the women’s one to not enter towards the witchcraft area, due to the most likely being kicked out of school.
If you would like to participate in cult week, you still have two days to sign up your cult and get an area for a booth for next week. Just go to the journalism room and they will be taking requests there. If you’re a woman, please stay away from the Salem Witch Cult. Cult week will be happening next week, so stay tuned.
