According to Ventura Unified School District, a voluntary evacuation was put in place Tuesday, March 20 for Ventura High School, De Anza Middle School, and Loma Vista Elementary School and it is continuing into Thursday, March 22. There will be no school tomorrow for these three schools due to the heavy rain and severe weather conditions. Normal school hours are scheduled to resume on Friday, March 23 for VHS until further notice.
